As I walk home I see signs of urban blight. There is an empty lot where there is trash around. Weeds are growing and the grass is yellow which makes it look ugly. At night there are police cars there because there was trouble. You would also see detectives stopping people and searching their cars. There are gangs outside looking for fights and to disturb other people. But all of this can be stopped. If our neighborhood got together and help clean up the streets it would be better. When we all work together more can be done and will be for the best. When we get more involved we don’t have to worry about being in danger at night. We would be able to walk the streets safely.
